Uptime (or availability) is the percentage of time that a machine is available to run divided by total time considered within the selected period.
The uptime history overview shows the historic uptime performance of your machines. The percentages are trended in the top graph. You can select different machines by checking the boxes in the overview below. This overview shows you how uptime performance is calculated along with extra details to help you understand how your machines are performing relatively.
The main columns are:
UPTIME | Percentage of time that a machine is available to run relative to the total time considered |
BENCHMARK | Optimal: >= 99% |
EXCLUDED HOURS | For these hours, the calculation could not be performed due to missing data |
SHUTDOWN HOURS | Amount of hours that the machine was shut down in the selected reporting period |
AVAILABLE HOURS | Amount of hours that the machine was available to run in the selected reporting period |
Calcualtion:
Availability = percentage of continuous time (*) in which machine is able to run (run = deliver air)
- Available time = time that machine has one of following statuses: load, unload, stop
- Unavailable time = time that machine is in shutdown (+ time without communication after shutdown)
- So unavailable time starts as soon as machine goes in shutdown and only ends when the shutdown cleared status is communicated: this occurs when shutdown reset is executed (machine needs to be communicating)
- (*) we only consider the time that machine had communication: ensure that if we lose communication after a shutdown we continue to consider this as communication time (part of “total time considered”.)
- No specification on the quality of the air delivered
